High-Performance Hydrocarbon Breakdown for Demanding Cargo Tanks
CR Degreaser B Plus is an advanced solvent-based emulsifying agent engineered for rapid dissolution and removal of stubborn hydrocarbon residues, heavy fuel oils (HFO), asphaltic deposits, and heavy waxes from marine cargo holds and industrial tanks.
- Deep Penetration Power: Rapidly softens aged, dense crude residues and asphaltic scale.
- Clean Water Washdown: Readily emulsifies with both seawater and freshwater for easy rinsing.
- Operational Versatility: Engineered for direct line injection, closed-loop recirculation, and hand spray.
Direct Injection Method: Inject undiluted at 0.1% to 0.2% (1 to 2 liters per 1,000 liters of wash water) directly into the pressure side of the automatic tank cleaning machines. Recommended wash water temperature:
60°C – 80°C.Recirculation Method: Prepare a 2% to 5% chemical wash solution in freshwater or seawater. Circulate through machine wash heads and heaters for 2 to 6 hours depending on the deposit thickness.
Manual Hand Spraying: Spray neat onto bulkheads and stringers using low-pressure chemical pumps. Allow 30 to 45 minutes soaking time, then rinse with high-pressure water jets.
