Hydrocarbon-Free Tank Cleaning & Final Washdown Agent
CR Degreaser HCF is a neutral pH, low-foaming solvent cleaning additive engineered for hydrocarbon-free (HCF) tank preparation and rust sediment removal. Formulated with built-in antifoam agents and multi-metal compatibility, it is safe on zinc silicate and aluminum tanks while serving as an effective final washdown to eliminate whitish residues left by alkaline degreasers.
- Safe on Zinc & Aluminum: Non-corrosive neutral formulation that protects sensitive tank coatings and metals.
- Alkaline Cleaner Substitute & Final Rinse: Cleans effectively as an alkaline substitute and rinses away white film/stains left by prior alkaline washing.
- Low-Foaming Emulsion: Integrates an antifoaming agent to prevent foam buildup during deep well circulation and spray cleaning.
Spraying Method: For heavy contaminants, spray a 2% concentration using a high-pressure sprayer. Wet the entire surface and allow 10 to 15 minutes for the solution to take effect before washing off with water at ambient temperature.
Circulation Method: Circulate a 0.2% solution via the deep well pump through tank washing machines for ~5 hours at 40°C – 45°C. Solution can be transferred to subsequent tanks; rinse treated tanks thoroughly with water.
Parts Immersion: Soak small parts/components in a bath of 5% to 8% solution in water (do not soak electrical, unsealed rubber/plastic, or concealed parts).
Optimum Temperature: Optimal grease and oil removal is achieved when heated to 45°C.
