Heavy-Duty Hydrocarbon & Sludge Emulsification for Marine Holds
CR Degreaser B is an industrial solvent-based tank cleaning compound formulated to penetrate, dissolve, and disperse stubborn mineral oils, crude oil sludge, heavy fuel oil (HFO) residues, and baked-on wax deposits across vessel cargo tanks and engine room bulkheads.
- Rapid Sludge Penetration: Actively softens and breaks down polymerized oil films, unrefined crude residues, and thick paraffin waxes.
- Stable Marine Emulsion: Mixes easily with seawater or fresh water to allow seamless rinsing without leaving greasy residues behind.
- Flexible Wash Methods: Suitable for direct line injection into washing systems, closed-loop recirculation tanks, or spot hand-spraying.
Direct Injection / Butterworth Washing: Inject neat or prepare a 2.0% to 5.0% dilution with seawater or fresh water. Circulate for 2 to 4 hours at 50°C – 65°C.
Recirculation Method: Prepare a 3.0% to 6.0% solution in the designated cleaning tank. Recirculate through wash heads for 3 to 6 hours depending on residue thickness.
Hand Spraying / Spot Application: Apply neat using a low-pressure spray unit. Allow 15 to 30 minutes soak time before rinsing with high-pressure warm water.
