Heavy-Duty Pet Coke, Lead & Mineral Deposit Remover
CR Lead Clean is a concentrated, water-based marine tank cleaner formulated with inorganic agents to break down and extract stubborn pet coke, inorganic lead residues, coal dust, and tough mineral scale from cargo holds and storage tanks. Operating as both a heavy-duty contaminant stripper and smell inhibitor, it prepares tanks for strict solvent-loading standards while maintaining safety across all alloys, metals, and plastics.
- Pet Coke & Coal Removal: Specifically engineered to dissolve and loosen dense pet coke scale, coal residues, and mineral deposits from cargo tank surfaces.
- Solvent-Loading Pre-Wash: Eliminates lead, residual minerals, and offensive cargo odors to achieve wall-wash inspection standards for solvent carriage.
- Broad Material Safety: Formulated to clean aggressively without damaging vessel alloys, base metals, or plastic components.
High-Pressure Spraying: For heavy deposits, wet the surface neat with CR Lead Clean (or diluted 5% with 95% fresh water) using a high-pressure sprayer. Allow 10 to 15 minutes contact time before rinsing off with ambient temperature water. For stubborn, heavily stained pet coke, apply a 50% dilution or use undiluted.
Circulation Method: Dilute a 5% solution in water and circulate through tank washing machines using a deep well pump for 2 to 5 hours at 40°C – 50°C. The solution may be transferred to subsequent tanks; rinse the treated tank thoroughly with water.
Rust & Scale Washing: Apply a 5% to 15% solution depending on tank conditions, pump through wash heads, and rinse thoroughly using high-pressure power jets.
Parts Immersion: Soak small components in a 5% to 15% bath in water (do not soak electrical, unsealed rubber/plastic, or concealed parts).

Operational Scope: Multi-purpose water-based cleaner acting as a heavy contaminant stripper, lead remover, and odor inhibitor. Safe for application on all metals, alloys, and plastics.
Handling Precautions: Non-flammable formulation. Always handle with care and wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, and safety goggles when dispensing or spraying. If liquid splashes into eyes or on skin, rinse immediately with generous amounts of water and seek medical attention.
