Heavy-Duty Inorganic Tank Cleaning Additive & Solvent Pre-Wash
CR Degreaser C is a concentrated, low-foaming tank cleaning additive engineered to remove stubborn chemical contaminants, heavy lead deposits, and hardened lube residues. Designed for compatibility with both acid and alkaline cleaning boosters, it allows flexible washdown formulations while maintaining a neutral pH, non-flammable profile.
- Acid & Alkaline Booster Compatible: Blends smoothly with caustic soda/potassium hydroxide or citric/nitric/phosphoric acids for enhanced cleaning power.
- Low-Foam Formulation: Contains built-in antifoam agents to prevent excessive suds during deep well circulation and high-pressure washing.
- Solvent-Loading Readiness: Cleans bulkheads contaminated with acrylates, phthalates, fatty acids, and heavy mineral oils to strict solvent loading standards.
Spraying Method: Never use neat. Dilute 1.5% CR Degreaser C with water and apply via high-pressure sprayer directly to stains. Allow 10 to 15 minutes contact time at ambient temperature before washing off with water.
Circulation Method: Dilute to a 0.1% – 0.3% concentration in water. Circulate through tank washing machines using a deep well pump for ~5 hours at 40°C – 45°C (can be increased up to 65°C – 85°C for heavy residues). Note: Maintain cleaning temperature 10°C below the lightest cargo component’s boiling point.
Parts Immersion: Soak components in a 1.0% to 1.5% solution bath in water.
| Parameter | Typical Specification |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Slightly Yellow Viscous Liquid |
| Specific Gravity (@ 20°C) | 1.07 |
| pH Value | 7 (Neutral) |
| Flash Point | Nil (Non-Flammable) |
| Market Equivalent | Comparable to Henkel CTC/VL C Cleaner |
Cargo Compatibility: Effective against mineral oils (castor, crude palm, fish, latex), lubricant additives (Exxon, Shell, Lubrizol, Chevron), petrochemicals (diesel, fuel oil, aromatics), and coal/soot.
Concentrated Efficiency: High active content requires lower dosage volumes, saving onboard storage space and operating costs.
Handling Precautions: Product irritates the skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
