Zinc & Aluminum Safe Hydrocarbon-Free Tank Cleaning Agent
CR Zinc Safe Neutral HCF is a water-soluble, neutral pH cleaning agent engineered specifically for sensitive marine tank linings, including zinc silicate and aluminum. It rapidly emulsifies vegetable oils, animal fats, and lube additives while preventing damage to vessel coatings. It also functions as a final washdown to eliminate white residue stains following alkaline cleaning cycles.
- Zinc & Aluminum Safe: Neutral formulation designed to prevent degradation of zinc-coated and light metal bulkheads.
- White Stain Removal: Acts as a post-washdown agent to remove chalky whitish residues left behind by alkaline cleaners.
- Operational Versatility: Engineered for direct line injection, closed-loop recirculation, and hand spray.
High-Pressure Spraying: For heavy contamination, spray neat directly onto contaminated areas. Allow 10 to 15 minutes contact time before washing off thoroughly with ambient temperature water.
Deep Well Circulation: Circulate a 2% solution via deep well pumps through tank washing machines for ~5 hours at 40°C – 45°C. Precaution: Maintain cleaning temperatures at least 10°C below the lightest cargo component’s boiling point.
Parts Immersion: Soak small components in a 10% to 20% dilution bath in water (do not soak electrical, unsealed rubber/plastic, or concealed parts).
Optimum Temperature: Optimal performance for oil and grease removal is achieved at 45°C, forming a milky emulsion that rinses clean.
