CR Degreaser X is an environmentally friendly marine cleaning agent specially developed to neutralize offensive odors and break down acrylic and acetate residues. It boosts the cleaning efficiency of traditional caustic formulations while ensuring a fully biodegradable end solution with minimal environmental impact during vessel tank turnaround.
- Acrylic & Acetate Neutralization: Formulated to clean spills and neutralize strong odors associated with acrylic and acetate products.
- Caustic Booster & Biodegradable: Enhances traditional caustic-based cleaners while maintaining a fully biodegradable discharge profile.
- Cargo Changeover Readiness: Thoroughly washes cargo tanks to prepare vessel bulkheads for sensitive subsequent shipments.
Tank Cleaning Procedure: Ensure all residual monomer is completely removed first, as acetate monomer will polymerize in the presence of water.
Circulation Method: Prepare a 5% solution in warm fresh water heated to 45°C. Circulate through the tank washing system for 3 to 4 hours.
Spill Clean-Up & Deodorizing: Apply solution directly over contaminated areas to neutralize odor and break down spillage residues prior to fresh water rinsing.
