Ultra-Concentrated Alkaline Formulation with Ethoxylated Surfactants
CR Degreaser E is a concentrated water-based alkaline cleaner utilizing ethoxylated surfactants to combine complexing agents and high-strength alkaline builders without chemical phase separation. It delivers powerful saponification and hydrocarbon removal at low dosage rates, while integrated antifoam agents prevent excessive foaming during high-pressure tank washing
- Ultra-High Concentration: Breakthrough formulation enables high active ingredient density, reducing required dosage volumes and onboard storage requirements.
- Acrylate & Odor Neutralization: Efficiently removes residual odors from acrylate monomers and foul-smelling petrochemical cargoes.
- Low-Foaming Chemistry: Contains built-in antifoam additives to maintain clear viewing and avoid foam overflow during deep well pump circulation.
Spraying Method: Never use neat. Dilute 5% CR Degreaser E with 95% water and apply directly using a high-pressure sprayer. Allow 10 to 15 minutes dwell time before washing off with water at ambient temperature.
Circulation Method: Dilute to a 0.2% – 3.0% concentration in water and circulate through tank washing machines using a deep well pump for ~5 hours at 40°C – 45°C (raise to 65°C – 85°C for heavy residues). Precaution: Keep cleaning temperatures 10°C below the boiling point of the lightest cargo component.
Parts Immersion: Soak small components in a 3% to 8% solution bath in water.
Coated Tanks (Epoxy / Phenolic): Dilute at a ratio of 1 part CR Degreaser E to 50 parts water (2%) to ensure coating safety.

Target Cargo Scope: Effective across fatty acids, crude palm oil, animal tallow, latex, synthetic polymers, lube oil additives (Exxon, Shell, Lubrizol, Chevron), aromatics, and coal/soot.
Safety & Handling: Strong alkaline solution. Wear full protective chemical clothing, rubber gloves, and safety goggles. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush immediately with generous amounts of water, use eyewash, and seek medical treatment.
